Hiking: Packing List

This is mostly just for myself. The list is kinda the maximum. Usually, tent, waterfilter and cooking gear are shared between 2 people, waterfilter often even more. Needless to say some of the gear is quite special, e. g. no snow/ice gear for sunny hikes.

The small backpacks are only good for dayhikes or hut-to-hut hikes as common in the alps, i. e. without tent, water treatment and cooking gear. The gear marked as "no freeze" either does not work well in cold conditions (like gas canister stoves) or is even destroyed once frozen (water filter).
