surprise: it's full of bugs
insert random gcc rant, they're all true

switched sparc64, amd64, i386, hppa, powerpc (macppc, socppc), mips64 (loongson, sgi) so far
looks like sparc is the next one

gcc overoptimization fixes...
the f00f bug came back, kinda ;)
