IP checksum offloading


pretty much every NIC, chip, card made in this century can do it
and many from the decade before as well
our stack has been modified ages ago to use it

delay cksumming until we know the outbound interface

check interface flags for cksum offloading support

mark packet for h/w checksumming and move on
or calculate it in software
