Why OpenBSD: Performance


tendency: good or better

remember exactly one case where OpenBSD performance was a problem
very busy mysqld, more than a decade ago
probably related to the hardware raid controller and its driver

webservers, firewalls, routers, loadbalancers, databases, application servers, DNS, ...
performance always at least sufficient, often much better

no OS can "fix" stupid application code
fetching 100000+ votes from the db and count in php...
